Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) is hiring a Category Manager within Aerospace & Defense to lead strategic sourcing and category-management activities that improve supplier performance, manage risk, strengthen compliance, and deliver measurable value across the aerospace and defense supply chain.

The position is 100% remote from within the United States and will require up to 50% travel, primarily to the Reston, VA corporate office.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree plus 15+ years related experience; Master’s with 13+ years also acceptable.
• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply-chain, or category-management.
• Experience with aerospace/defense or highly regulated industries and with FAR/DFARS knowledge.

Mansioni

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with objectives, requirements, market conditions and long-range demand.
• Lead RFI, RFQ, RFP and other sourcing processes end-to-end.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, service levels, and performance with suppliers.
