Job summary

C S Inc is seeking a Compliance & Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to the certification of safety-critical avionics systems. This role involves working directly with senior SQA engineers to ensure compliance through Quality Assurance Plans and performing audits, checks, and maintaining certification artifacts. Ideal candidates have 3 to 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of experience in software engineering, software quality, or system engineering.
• Willingness to grow into a long-term certification and SQA role.
• U.S. citizenship required; dual citizenship must be disclosed.

Responsibilities

• Support DO-178C and DO-254 certification activities across multiple programs.
• Assist in preparation, review, and refinement of certification artifacts.
• Develop, review and accept Quality Assurance Plans to ensure compliance.
• Perform SQA audits, compliance checks, and support gap tracking.
• Maintain certification evidence packages and support configuration management.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure certification requirements.
