The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software or quality engineering, with hands-on DO-178C experience and strong communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years in software, systems, or quality engineering with DO-178C focus.
• Experience auditing software and hardware development processes and artifacts.
• Familiarity with embedded aviation software lifecycle and DO-178C supplements.
• Solid communication and presentation skills to convey findings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

We’re hiring an experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to provide software and hardware quality oversight throughout the development lifecycle for embedded aviation and military systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform software and hardware process audits across the development lifecycle.
• Review and approve engineering work products, release packages, and quality artifacts.
• Participate in technical reviews and present SQA findings and status reports.
• Audit supplier processes and deliverables for compliance.
• Monitor testing activities and verify quality, reliability, and program requirements.
• Partner with software, systems, test, and project teams.
• Mentor engineering teams on quality processes, standards, and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software, systems, or quality engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with RTCA DO-178C and its supplements.
• Experience with embedded aviation software development across the full lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications
