Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. is seeking an Advanced Markets Consultant to advise producers on estate planning, business continuation, retirement planning, and related financial solutions.

You’ll partner with wholesalers and advisors to craft tailored plans and drive growth across multiple channels. The role blends financial expertise with relationship-building and market insight, requires leadership and travel as needed, and offers a substantial compensation package including salary plus bonus,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, tax, estate planning, or related fields.
• Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build relationships and provide consultative support to producers and advisors.
• Leadership skills and attention to detail, even under tight deadlines.
• You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
• Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States.
• Able to travel occasionally as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Case Consultation: Partner with producers, wholesalers, and advisors to provide tailored estate, business, and retirement planning solutions.
• Training & Development: Create and deliver impactful training through in-person seminars, webinars, and workshops.
• Sales Strategy: Develop strategies to maximize product sales (life insurance, annuities, long-term care, etc.), collaborating across multiple distribution channels.
• Market Insights: Stay ahead of legislative and industry changes to identify new planning opportunities.
• Product Influence: Consult with product teams to ensure offerings are competitive, profitable, and aligned with client needs.
