Job summary

Brightpoint is seeking Adoption Support & Preservation Therapists to provide telehealth and in-home services to families with adopted children or guardianship cases within the Effingham service area. The role focuses on trauma-informed and attachment-focused care, including individual, family, and group therapy, case management, advocacy, and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling is required.
• Illinois clinical license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) required.
• Experience with evidence-based or evidence-informed treatment modalities (e.g., Theraplay, ARC) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth and in-home services to families with adopted children or guardianship cases.
• Offer trauma-informed, attachment-focused services including individual, family, and group therapy, case management, advocacy, and crisis intervention.
• Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans and referrals, collaborating with other providers.
