Job summary

The Emily Program is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to guide prospective and returning clients through the admissions journey with compassion and efficiency. You will coordinate referrals, schedule pre-admission activities, and communicate with families and internal teams across care levels.

In this role, you’ll balance empathy with performance goals, ensure accurate documentation in CRM/EHR, and help minimize barriers to timely access to care in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in healthcare admissions or related client-facing role.
• Experience in behavioral health, eating disorder treatment, healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients, families, and referral sources via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Coordinate and schedule any pre-admission appointments (e.g., medical intake) and secure admission dates.
• Maintain client records in the CRM, EHR, and other internal systems with HIPAA compliance.
• Support census goals by facilitating timely admissions across levels of care.
• Communicate admissions updates to internal teams and manage follow-ups with prospective clients.
