Job summary

The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary seeks Adjunct Faculty to lead online 7.5-week accounting course sections within the MAcc and Online MBA programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with faculty, reviewing syllabi, posting weekly announcements, and guiding students through assignments and discussions. Remote role with a commitment of 15–20 hours per week, requiring a Master’s in accounting (CPA preferred) and experience teaching adults online.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or training adults in online settings.
• Ability to provide timely, substantive feedback on assignments.
• Familiarity with online course design and grading guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more 7.5-week asynchronous online course sections.
• Communicate with faculty and staff via email and LMS.
• Provide weekly announcements and respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Grade assignments and exams within given rubrics; offer virtual office hours.
