Job summary

Groups is a leading outpatient provider delivering SUD treatment online and in person, seeking a 1099 Physician (MD/DO) to join our remote team in New Mexico. Physicians participate in intakes, monitor clinical progress during group sessions, and manage medication dosing within our structured clinical system.

This role requires an active state license, DEA, Buprenorphine prescribing experience, and board certification, with at least 1 year of Buprenorphine prescribing.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered MD/DO license in the applying state.
• Active, individual DEA license in the applying state.
• DEAX designation or 8 hours SAMHSA-approved Buprenorphine training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting intakes; physicians see patients after counselor evaluation.
• Monitor patients' clinical progress at regular group counseling sessions.
• Authorize prescriptions during monthly visits with patient panels.
• Complete notes and reporting in Groups EMR within required timeline.
