Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is partnering with a leading environmental services company to recruit an Acquisition Consultant. The role specializes in working capital analysis, opening balance sheets, fixed asset valuation, and acquisition integration support.

This is a remote role with travel to the acquired entity. The assignment runs from October through January/February, starting mid-October, at $50–$70/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or financial integrations.
• Strong background in accounting, finance, or controllership.
• Hands-on experience with working capital analysis, opening balance sheets, and fixed asset valuation.
• Experience working in ERP environments; Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate working capital balances associated with the acquisition.
• Prepare and review opening balance sheet accounts and supporting documentation.
• Perform fixed asset valuation and related accounting assessments.
• Review accounts receivable balances and identify potential issues or risks.
• Manage acquisition-related activities, coordinate with stakeholders, and provide updates to finance leadership.
