Job summary

HGC Noise Vibration Acoustics is seeking an experienced acoustics professional to grow our presence in Dallas–Fort Worth and the broader South Central U.S. This role combines technical delivery with active client development, working from home with base in the DFW area.

You will manage diverse projects across environmental, architectural, transportation, and industrial acoustics, build client relationships, and deliver high-quality results with support from one of North America’s leading

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, or a related discipline.
At least five years of experience in noise, vibration, acoustics, or a related engineering field.
Professional Engineer (PE) designation, or equivalent professional certification.
Experience in a dynamic consulting environment is preferred, particularly within architecture, engineering, construction (AEC) or industrial sectors.
Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

Build and grow client relationships across the DFW area and Texas.
Respond to client inquiries, prepare proposals, and convert opportunities into work.
Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for clients on projects.
Represent HGC professionally with clients, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
Manage projects from proposals through delivery, coordinating schedules and deliverables.
Visit client sites, conduct field measurements and instrumentation deployment.
Develop acoustical models and perform technical analyses to interpret results and develop practical solutions.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project deliverables.
Review work to maintain high standards of technical quality.
Monitor project budgets and schedules.
Contribute to the ongoing advancement of HGC's technical capabilities.
