Job summary

Cochlear is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Hearing Implant Solutions to cover the Mid-North Atlantic region from in-territory locations. The role focuses on selling Acoustics implant products, supporting surgical and clinical cases, and building strong relationships with surgeons, audiologists, hospitals and clinics.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years in medical device or hearing healthcare sales, with experience in forecasting and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required plus 2 years of Medical Device/Pharmacy sales or Hearing Healthcare industry experience.
• 2 years of sales planning, carrying a revenue number, budgeting and/or forecasting.
• Must live in the territory; travel up to 60%.
• Must meet credentialing requirements to obtain hospital and surgical center access.

Responsibilities

• Sales Acumen – prospecting for opportunities with new and existing customers with focus on the Acoustics product portfolio and building relationships with surgical partners.
• Business Acumen – knowledge of sales reports, forecast templates, and contracting tools; using CRM in planning.
• Clinical Support – apply clinical knowledge to Cochlear customers with product training and fitting software.
• Surgical Support – maintain in-depth product knowledge to sell CI and Baha products in surgical environments.
