Job summary

The California Department of Insurance (CDI) seeks an Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) to lead the Accounts Receivable Unit within the Financial & Business Management Division. You will oversee AR processing, deposits, and receivable controls, directing staff and aligning policies with CalHR guidelines.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, accounting discipline, FI$Cal proficiency, and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with State accounting principles, methods, and procedures.
• Knowledge of FI$Cal and financial record keeping.
• Experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct all functions of the Accounts Receivable Unit.
• Establish policies for validation, depositing, and recording AR payments.
• Develop and implement AR control policies with Revenue Section Chief.
