Merakey is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join the Business Operations team in Harrisburg, PA. This remote position is available to candidates residing in PA, DE, FL, LA, MD, NJ, OH, TX, VA, WV, with a 37.5-hour work week (Mon–Fri, 9:00 am–5:00 pm) and a pay rate of $17.34/hour.

The role focuses on follow-up, re-billing, and collections activities, ensuring timely reimbursements and adherence to policies. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and flexible programs.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in medical billing.
• Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
• Strong organizational and customer services skills required.
• Intermediate knowledge of insurance billing requirements for third party payers.
• Ability to work independently and in group settings.
• Two years' accounts receivable experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for accounts receivable follow-up of assigned payers.
• Review rejections, make corrections, and re-bill or adjust claims.
• Contact insurance carriers to confirm payment dates or reasons for rejections.
• Maintain accounts receivable goals for assigned payers.
• Review refunds/credit balances and take appropriate action.
• Record comments and follow up per management guidelines.
• Assist with special projects when requested.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.
• Other duties related to billing and collections.
