Job summary

Community Care Cooperative (C3) is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our revenue cycle team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional billing, preferably within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC).

The role focuses on Epic Resolute Professional Billing, charge capture, claims processing, and reimbursement across the healthcare revenue cycle, with MA regulations and MassHealth familiarity essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of medical billing experience, preferably in an FQHC or professional billing setting.
• Proficiency in Epic Resolute PB and billing workflows.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS and payer-specific rules.
• Familiarity with Massachusetts healthcare regulations and MassHealth.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter and review charges for accuracy per payer requirements.
• Submit electronic and paper claims through Epic and clearinghouses.
• Identify and resolve charge capture errors to prevent delays.
• Reconcile daily payment batches and monitor unapplied payments.
• Collaborate with insurance payers to resolve discrepancies and denials.
• Provide billing analytics and participate in audits.
