What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Follow up on claims over 30+ days to ensure prompt resolution
- Investigate denied, delayed, or underpaid claims and appeal when appropriate
- Contact insurance payers to verify claim status and resolve payment delays
- Collaborate with billing and payment posting teams to streamline claim resolutions
- Identify trends in denials and non-payments and recommend process improvements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Prior experience in dental office revenue cycle functions
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, HMO, and Fee-for-Service (FFS) plans
- Proficiency in dental billing software and industry tools
- Strong computer literacy with intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Practice Management Systems such as CareStack, WinOMS, or Dentrix
- Familiarity with insurance portals and clearinghouses like Navinet or Availity
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to handle payer escalations and patient billing inquiries effectively
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
