Job summary

The Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) in Massachusetts seeks a full-time Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the agency’s AP processes, ensure timely payments, and maintain compliance with MOSAIC and relevant regulations. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and requires strong leadership and analytical skills.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance and at least four years in accounting or AP, plus a proven ability to work remotely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar field
• Four years of experience in accounting and/or accounts payable
• Access to home internet sufficient to work remotely

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounts payable staff and processes for agency services and court-related payments
• Review and reconcile invoices; ensure timely payments and accuracy
• Maintain MOSAIC and other agency payment systems; support audits and reporting
• Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures
• Provide internal training and mentorship to staff; address issues and opportunities for improvement
