Boomering is hiring an Accounts Payable Accountant (junior to intermediate) for a remote role supporting a US-based vacation rental business. You will manage invoices, payments, vendor statements, and month-end tasks with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

Working remotely with a global team, you’ll collaborate with US-based stakeholders, maintain audit-ready records, and identify process improvements while upholding strong financial controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience supporting a US-based business.
• Experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting (junior to intermediate).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoices, bills, and expense reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and service providers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Communicate and coordinate with US-based vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and workflows.
