Engage fi is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our remote finance team. The role focuses on maintaining financial records, processing payables/receivables, and supporting monthly close with accuracy and integrity.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 2+ years in accounting; CPA is preferred. This position offers full-time hours, remote work, and growth within a collaborative, award-winning firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, HubSpot or Bank of America CashPro a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
• Generate journal entries and assist month-end close and close procedures.
• Prepare financial statements, perform variance analysis, and assist ad hoc reports.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and inquiries.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations on financial issues.
