Job summary

e2E Kansas City area is seeking an Accounting Specialist to deliver accurate bookkeeping and financial support for a diverse client portfolio. You will be the primary contact for day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance and operational excellence with modern accounting tools.

You will record transactions, process invoices, assist payroll, and coordinate with HR and Payroll Consultants to keep payroll data current. A background in accounting and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent education.
• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, or office administration.
• Basic proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with other cloud-based accounting systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Record client transactions to general ledger, including cash receipts and payables.
• Receive, record, and deposit cash and vouchers; process client invoices.
• Process invoices, vendor payments, and employee expense reports.
• Assist in recording, reconciling, and reviewing accounting data and reports.
• Provide guidance on accounting best practices and internal policies.
• Monitor client finance emails and maintain professional communication with vendors and client teams.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll Consultants to ensure payroll information is communicated.
• Perform payroll and benefit reconciliations to the general ledger and related accounts.
• Perform other duties and client-related projects as assigned.
