Job summary

Supporting Strategies is seeking a Manager, Remote Accounting Services who will lead a remote team of client-facing accountants from home during standard daytime hours. This hands-on role focuses on delivering exceptional accounting and operational service while maintaining work-life balance.

You will manage onboarding, leverage cloud-based platforms, and partner with executives to proactively address client needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
10 years of related accounting experience with 4 years of hands-on management experience.
Capacity to work up to 32–35 hours a week during daytime hours.
Proven ability to attract, build and retain a high-performance remote team.
Experience managing remote teams and client-facing accountants.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to clients.
Demonstrate thorough understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practices.
Keep abreast of latest technologies to deliver quality service.
Oversee onboarding process for all assigned client engagements.
Implement technology toolbox on all client engagements to drive efficiency.
Serve as a resource to team members for guidance on client tasks.
Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives.
