CNO Financial Group, Inc. is offering an Accounting Operations Intern position. This internship supports quarterly reporting and daily accounting tasks within the Accounting Operations team.

The role provides practical experience in a corporate setting and exposure to financial processes across the company. The incumbent will work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks during the summer, with preference for candidates in Central or Eastern US time zones.

Qualifications

• Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline.
• Status as a rising junior or rising senior with graduation dates around 2027–2029.
• Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10–12 weeks during the summer.
• Experience with one or more listed tools (Power BI, Alteryx, Power Automate, VBA, Co-Pilot, Denodo, MS 365).

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation of key processes supporting quarterly reporting.
• Assist with daily accounting operation tasks.
• Complete special projects.
• Assist with month end and quarterly close.
