Job summary

CNO Financial Group is seeking an Accounting Operations Intern to join our team in Carmel, IN. You will work alongside our Accounting Operations staff on day-to-day tasks, supporting quarterly reporting and process documentation.

The program runs May 17 through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline and be available for 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks during the summer; remote work within US time zones is possible.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline.
• Rising junior or rising senior with approximate graduation dates (Dec 2027–Jun 2029).
• Available to work 40 hrs/week for 10–12 weeks during the summer.
• Experience with one or more listed tools is preferred.
• Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred or willing to work CT/ET business hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation of key processes supporting quarterly reporting and analysis.
• Assist with daily accounting operation tasks.
• Complete special projects.
• Assist with month end and quarterly close.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (in progress)
