CNO Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Operations Intern to support the Accounting Operations team in Carmel, IN.

This paid internship runs May 17 through August 06, 2027, offering professional day-to-day work, documentation of processes, and exposure to quarterly reporting. Ideal candidates are pursuing an accounting-related degree, are rising juniors or seniors with Summer 2027 graduation dates, and can commit to 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline.
• Rising junior or rising senior with approx. graduation December 2027–June 2029.
• Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
• Experience with Co-Pilot, Co-Pilot Studio, Power BI, Alteryx, Power Automate, VBA, Denodo, and Microsoft 365.
• Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred or willing to work Central/Eastern time hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate documentation of key processes supporting quarterly reporting and analysis.
• Assist with daily accounting operation tasks.
• Complete special projects.
• Assist with month end and quarterly close.
