Job summary

Fullsteam is seeking an Accounting Manager, Payments and Platform Services Revenue to lead the payments revenue accounting for US and Canada. You will manage revenue recognition, billing, and the end-to-end lifecycle of money movements, while developing a high-performing team.

The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to Atlanta, GA or Auburn, AL as needed. Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in accounting with payments experience and strong ASC 606 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with payment processing or transactional revenue.
• Minimum 3 years of people-management experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; NetSuite/Zuora experience a plus.
• Strong US GAAP, ASC 606 expertise, with multi-element arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payments revenue accounting and billing processes.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close for payments and platform services revenue.
• Manage reconciliation of money movements and journal entries.
• Collaborate with risk, underwriting, sales, and operations for process improvements.
• Support external audits with revenue recognition documentation.
