Job summary

Gusmer Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the close process, supervise accounting staff, and partner with cross-functional teams in a remote, New Jersey–based role.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, US GAAP expertise, and ERP/Excel skills. CPA preferred, with support for critical month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

Qualifications

• BS in accounting or equivalent and CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience leading accounting close and ERP processes.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Experience with sales/use tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Manage GL activities, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate reporting.
• Oversee asset accounting and CIP activities.
