Global Impact in Washington, D.C. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the Finance & Business Services functions.
You will oversee internal controls, client communications, and the team's performance to ensure timely and accurate reporting for our nonprofit clients. The role requires a bachelor's in accounting and 8–10 years nonprofit accounting experience, including grant accounting, with potential for remote work and occasional travel to the DC headquarters.
The A ccounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting and finance functions of Global Impact for the Finance & Business Services (FBS) d epartment. The y will manage f iscal s ponsor ship and f iscal a gency client communication and deliverables and manage FBS staff to ensure that all necessary compliance activities are fulfilled.
Qualifying for this role means you have a bachelor ’ s degree in accounting or a related field and 8 – 10 years of progressive , nonprofit experience in accounting. You have experience with donor grant agreements, grant management, and restricted grant accounting (including net asset tracking and indirect allocation accounting). You have knowledge of banking cash management systems, QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite, Bill .com , and MS Office including in-depth use of Excel.
This is a full-time position and maybe fully remote, with travel to headquarters in Washington, D.C.for team meetings on occasion.Local employees are in a hybrid work model, with 1-4 days per month in our Washington, D.C. headquarters office.Visa sponsorship is not available.

The salary range is $105,000-$120,000, depending on the experience you have.On top of the competitive salary that we are offering,you’llreceive 16 paid holidays and 25 paid days off.
