A dynamic and fast-growing company specializing in full-cycle accounting, advisory, and data management services is seeking a process-oriented Remote Accounting Manager.

Location: REMOTE within the US

Compensation: $90,000- $95,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Manage internal workflows and staff, ensuring timely and accurate client deliverables.
• Optimize existing SOPs and design new ones, using video tools for training and client communication.
• Troubleshoot complex reconciliations and teach the team how to resolve them. Collaborate with the President/Founder and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Anticipate and manage the hiring of 2-3 additional team members within the next 6-12 months.
• Maintain general familiarity with our tech stack and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with the ability to handle complex reconciliations.
• At least 2 years of experience in management.
• CPA certification is preferred, but equivalent experience is also valued
• Diverse industry background is welcomed, as it contributes to our robust team.
• General familiarity with QBO, bill.com, Expensify, Keeper, Fathom; payroll applications include Gusto, ADP, Paychex. QBO certified level 2 and bill.com certified are advantages.
• Strong process improvement skills, with a focus on optimizing workflows for fixed-fee billing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create and share training videos - we currently use Snagit.
• Integrity, curiosity, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  
  

Work Style

Fully remote position with flexible work hours, as long as they are predictable. Must have at least 4 hours of overlap with the team each day. We value being fully focused when working and respecting time away from the desk.
