Conexwest, a fast-growing container solutions company, seeks a strategic Head of Accounting to lead the team from a fully remote setup. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on financial operations across GAAP reporting, controls, and compliance for a growing business in the U.S.

You will partner with executives, drive policies and processes, and optimize NetSuite ERP to support scalable growth while maintaining data integrity and accurate financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience with GAAP-based financial reporting and audits.
• Hands-on NetSuite ERP implementation, optimisation, and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Lead accounting department, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal/state/local regulations, and internal controls.
• Manage GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and revenue/cost recognition for container operations.
• Coordinate audits and collaborate with external auditors.
