VLCM Tech in Murray, UT is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations, process invoices, and maintain records. The role collaborates with the Accounting team and other departments to ensure accurate financial information and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with ERP systems and Excel, and able to manage multiple tasks while communicating effectively with colleagues and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework preferred.
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Comfortable with ERP/accounting systems and cloud apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a service mindset.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in a tech-related environment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices and billing transactions on time.
• Receive and enter vendor invoices and supporting documentation.
• Enter data into ERP and accounting systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Review records to respond to internal/external requests.
• Assist with account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Create reports and spreadsheets using Excel and Microsoft 365.
• Maintain electronic records per company processes.
• Provide updates to Accounting team and stakeholders.
• Support month-end activities and other periodic accounting tasks.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and data accuracy.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
