Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Accounting Associate II to process and reconcile subcontractor labor transactions and support contract and labor accounting operations. This fully remote role within the United States requires strong data management and reporting skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Deltek Costpoint, Excel, and government contracting processes, plus the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years’ experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience using Deltek Costpoint.
• Knowledge of subcontractor management, vendor and employee setup, work assignments, timekeeping, timesheet corrections, voucher processing, labor reporting, and related financial processes.
• Experience working in a government contracting environment.
• Understanding of contract structures.
• Knowledge of task orders and their requirements.
• Familiarity with labor categories and rate structures.
• Awareness of periods of performance and funding processes.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements.
• Understanding of audit considerations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily program and operational activities by coordinating administrative, financial and project-related tasks.
• Maintain accurate records, track deliverables, and support subcontractor and labor management processes.
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.
