Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an Accounting Analyst for a remote temporary assignment supporting a medical leave in the Irving, TX area. The role involves contributing across accounting operations, financial analysis, reporting, and client billing with minimal ramp-up time.

You will support month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, and invoicing, partnering with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and ensure contract compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting, financial analysis, or financial operations experience.
• NetSuite experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Strong financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Invoicing and client billing experience.
• Understanding of contract-based billing requirements and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain financial results to management.
• Organized with ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Analyze actual vs. budgeted and forecasted results, identifying key drivers of variances
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Manage client invoicing and billing processes while ensuring contract compliance
• Monitor billing schedules and deadlines to ensure timely invoicing
• Assist with audit support and accounting documentation
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business operations
