Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an Accounting Analyst for a remote temporary assignment supporting a medical leave. The role involves contributing across accounting operations, financial analysis, reporting and client billing with minimal ramp-up time.

Responsibilities include month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and audit support. Ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience and NetSuite proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting, financial analysis, or financial operations experience.
• Required NetSuite experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Strong background in financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Hands-on invoicing and client billing experience.
• Understanding of contract-based billing requirements and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial results to management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze actual versus budgeted and forecasted results, identifying key drivers of variances.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Manage client invoicing and billing processes while ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
• Monitor billing schedules and recurring deadlines to ensure timely invoicing.
• Assist with audit support and accounting documentation needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business operations.
