Job summary

Prolific is seeking Accountant Subject Matter Experts to join its Expert Network and help train AI models using professional accounting insight. You may complete a short test, then join Prolific’s Accounting Projects and be paid to train AI models from home.

Expected pay ranges up to $60 per hour depending on skills and experience; tasks require about one hour of uninterrupted work, with many being shorter. Flexible hours and remote work are supported.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent accounting experience.
• Attention to detail to review complex documentation.
• Critical thinking to provide logical, fact-based reasoning.
• Reliability to work independently on ad hoc, remote assignments.
• PayPal account required to receive payments.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing complex financial statements, audit reports and regulatory filings to ensure data integrity.
• Answering specific questions based on document content to help AI models understand technical language.
• Ensure outputs generated by AI align with professional accounting standards and frameworks.
• Provide expert feedback to bridge human expertise and machine learning.
