Job summary

Prolific Academic Ltd is seeking Accountant Subject Matter Experts to join its Expert Network to train and evaluate AI models using professional accounting insight. After a brief 10–15 minute test, you may be invited to join paid Accounting Projects and contribute to data quality and model guidance.

Roles are remote with flexible hours. Pay rates can reach up to $60 per hour depending on skills and experience, with tasks often lasting one hour or shorter.

Qualifications

• Accounting background with degree or professional qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review complex documentation.
• Independent work on ad hoc remote assignments that fit around commitments.

Responsibilities

• Document Evaluation: Reviewing complex financial statements, audit reports, and regulatory filings to ensure data integrity.
• AI Model Guidance: answering specific questions based on document content to help AI models understand technical or formal language.
• Fact-Checking & Validation: ensuring outputs align with professional standards and accounting frameworks.
• Knowledge Sharing: providing expert feedback to bridge human expertise and machine learning.
