Job summary

Prolific is seeking Accountant Subject Matter Experts to join our Expert Network and help train and evaluate AI models using professional accounting insight. If selected, you’ll complete a brief skills test and, if invited, join Prolific’s Accounting Projects as a participant, getting paid for your contributions.

You’ll perform document evaluation, AI model guidance, and fact-checking while sharing knowledge to improve AI outputs. This is remote, flexible work with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, etc.)
• Attention to detail to review complex documentation and identify nuances
• Critical thinking with an accounting mindset to provide logical reasoning
• Reliability to work independently on ad hoc, remote assignments
• PayPal account to receive payments from clients

Responsibilities

• Document Evaluation: review complex financial statements, audit reports, and regulatory filings for data integrity
• AI Model Guidance: answer specific questions based on document content to aid model understanding
• Fact-Checking & Validation: ensure outputs align with professional standards and accounting frameworks
• Knowledge Sharing: provide expert feedback to bridge human expertise and machine learning
