Job description

IntePros is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to join our global pharmaceutical services client. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and integrity across all areas of accounting. The ideal candidate has experience with billing/invoicing in SAP!

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Reconcile accounts and support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Analyze monthly financial reports and post journal entries for various accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including A/R and A/P reconciliations, sub-ledgers, balance sheet accounts, expense analysis, and depreciation schedules
• Perform daily/monthly cash balance reporting and bank reconciliations
• Record financial transactions in journals and general ledger
• Prepare trend and ad hoc analyses as needed
• Coordinate accounting matters between regional teams, divisional associates, and department managers
• Review customer contracts and billing when required
• Perform other related duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with billing/invoicing and SAP is a huge plus
