Team Carney, Inc. seeks a Hybrid Accessibility Specialist to test, audit, and remediate e-learning, documents, games, and web assets for Section 508 compliance.

You will work mostly remotely with periodic on-site presence in the DC metro area, collaborating with instructional designers and developers to embed accessible practices from the start. A deep knowledge of accessibility standards and experience with assistive technologies is essential.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG guidelines.
• Experience auditing with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA).
• Ability to advise content creators on accessible design from the start.

Responsibilities

• Test, audit, and remediate e-learning modules, documents, games, and web assets for Section 508 compliance.
• Collaborate with content teams to implement accessible materials.
• Prepare reports and track remediation progress using HHS templates.
