Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team at Bryan Casey Construction. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on carpentry experience, a thorough understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction, and be proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools such as powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc. The candidate should also have great hand dexterity and an eye for detail, and be able to problem solve and troubleshoot. This candidate also needs to be a self-starter who is motivated to get the work done with quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities Include

• Demolition of all parts of the interior of a house, including knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Experience in framing carpentry and detailed finish carpentry.
• Experience in fireblocking.
• Experience in insulation hanging and blowing.
• Experience in installation of LVP flooring.
• Knowledge for closing out a house (punch list): cabinet pulls, mirrors, bath hardware, hooks, adjusting cabinet doors and drawers, hanging closet rods, and installing man door hardware.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and/or plans.
• Proficient in power tools and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on carpentry experience.
• Thorough understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools such as powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.
• Great hand dexterity and an eye for detail.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
• Driver's License (Required)

Experience

• Construction Experience: 5 years (Required)
• Carpentry: 5 years (Required)
