Job summary

Commerce Bank is seeking a Remittance Processor III to support Lockbox Remittance Processing services in Kansas City. The role focuses on expedited collection and processing of payments and correspondence for customers, with attention to accuracy and compliance.

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Responsibilities include quality checks, data entry, and processing of PHI and card payments under HIPAA and PCI standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payment processing or related experience in a production environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass background checks related to federal exclusions and HIPAA/PHI handling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on outbound mail and troubleshoot issues.
• Operate high or low speed scanning equipment with accuracy.
• Monitor workflow and meet deadlines per service level agreements.
• Process data entry for scanned images and manual keying.
• Handle PHI and card payments in compliance with HIPAA and PCI standards.
• Crosstrain and assist other areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
