Job summary

Deluxe Corporation is seeking a Processing Specialist II in Chicago, IL for a 2nd shift (Sat-Wed, 2:00pm–10:30pm). You will perform complex sorting and decisioning on non-standard or rejected transactions, ensuring accurate processing and adherence to client instructions.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong computer and decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include health, retirement, and more.

Shift: 2nd, Saturday - Wednesday 2:00pm - 10:30pm

The Processing Specialist II position performs complex sorting and decisioning of non-standard or rejected transactions. The focus of the position is to perform the day to day functions of reject decisioning/processing.

• Reject Operator - Pull rejected transactions from all processing areas using reports and processing audit trails with general knowledge of operations. Perform basic level transaction sorting and decision-making. Header batched items with control documents and processing header.
• High Speed Mail Extraction & Scanning – Perform extraction and scanning on high speed and moderate to complex client handling using I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX 30, 40, 50/51, 150 Falcon equipment
• Processing medium to high complexity client sorting and transaction decisioning. Complexity is defined by client processing instructions.
• Process work accurately and maintain performance output in accordance with department standards
• Assist with training when needed

Basic Qualifications:

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50 hourly. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
