Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (GED accepted).
• Capacity to lift or move up to 30 pounds.
• Strong knowledge of remittance processing.
• Proficient written and oral communication with employees or external customers/clients.
• Knowledge of remittance processing practices and client specifications.
• Knowledge of the practices and techniques to verify and distribute computer output.
• Knowledge of the practices involved in item processing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer payments for processing.
• Opening/Scanning mail.
• Coordinates set-up and maintenance activities for the remittance processor and related equipment.
• Performs research and adjustment activities.
• Processes exception items.
• Maintains inventory of remittance processing supplies.
