Job summary

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. is seeking a motivated Remelt employee to join our Bridgeville, PA team. The role supports daily production, handles equipment and material flow, and helps maintain safety, efficiency, and organization on the shop floor.

The position begins as a Utility role with training to advance. The candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude, solid organizational skills, and experience in heavy industrial settings; MIG welding is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred, or 1 year of industrial manufacturing internship experience.
• MIG welding experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Participate in required safety programs and observations.
• Support production operations and maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Prioritize workload based on production needs.
• Operate and work around forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform MIG welding as required.
• Utilize specialized computer systems and software, including OFS and hydraulic systems.
• Monitor equipment and identify potential operational issues.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and welding-related issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Communicate operational concerns and production information to supervision.
• Adapt to changing priorities and immediate operational needs.
• Participate in problem-solving activities and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
