Apex seeks an Environmental Technician 1 for Signal Hill, CA and Thousand Oaks, CA. This full-time role pays $25.00–$32.00 per hour and involves operating remediation systems, collecting samples, and assisting with system optimization. 1–5+ years in remediation, OSHA HazWOPER, and physical readiness are required.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma minimum requirement.
• 1–5+ years of remediation system experience and data collection.
• OSHA 40-Hour HazWoper certification required.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair remediation systems.
• Operate and maintain remediation equipment and systems.
• Perform soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling.
• Conduct site inspections and collect field data.
• Operate groundwater pumps and support system optimization.
