Apex Companies, LLC is seeking an Environmental Technician 2 for multiple CA locations, including Signal Hill and Thousand Oaks. The role requires 6+ years in remediation and hands-on experience with remediation systems, sampling, and field data collection.

Full-time, with a 30–40 USD hourly rate, and opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized firm. You will operate and maintain remediation equipment, perform site visits, and collaborate with engineers and PMs to optimize

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma required.
• 6+ years of remediation system experience and data collection.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Stable employment history and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair remediation systems.
• Perform remediation system operations and maintenance.
• Conduct soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling.
• Perform site inspections and collect data.
• Operate and maintain groundwater pumps.
• Travel to local remediation sites as needed.
• Interact with engineers and project managers to optimize systems.
