ExxonMobil in the United States is seeking an experienced project professional to manage large reclamation and remediation projects in the Permian region. The role emphasizes strategic planning, safety stewardship, schedule discipline, and field coordination to meet regulatory objectives.

Responsibilities include evaluating contractor proposals, controlling costs, and developing risk-aware work plans while ensuring compliance with OIMS and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Preferred university degree in engineering, geology or sciences.
• Experience with New Mexico oil and gas regulators (NMOCD, NMSLO, BLM).
• Experience with environmental remediation, reclamation, and abandonment of Upstream assets.
• Project management experience and leadership abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage a large portfolio of reclamation/remediation projects with strategic planning and safety stewardship.
• Evaluate contractor proposals, approve expenditures, and drive cost-effective delivery.
• Develop work plans aligned with cost efficiency, waste minimization, and risk mitigation.
• Review consultant reports, work plans, and deliverables for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with ExxonMobil OIMS, controls, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate regulatory, landowner and permit requirements.
• Collaborate with wells, land, and operations to support compliance.
• Engage with regulators or representatives to maintain positive relationships.
• Utilize project management tools to track cost, schedule and risk.
• Track KPIs such as waste volumes and closure progress.
• Support portfolio-level stewardship with regular reporting.
