City eWaste in Franklin, Tennessee, is hiring a versatile Remarketing Pro to turn yesterday's tech into treasure. You will research, photograph, list, and connect devices with buyers, while handling real gear and helping with packing and shipping.

The role is full-time, hourly, on-site, Monday–Friday, with opportunities to grow as the team expands across new markets.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Want to play with technology all day and save rare items from going into the landfill? That's what City eWaste Remarketing Pros do all day. Every box is a mystery & every day is a chance to turn junk into jobs.

We're the first ewaste franchise in the U.S., born from a backyard hustle & growing fast. In the sustainability lifecycle there's Reduce, Reuse & Recycle. Your job is the Reuse part. We resell curated used electronics to Resumers (people who buy secondhand goods). What can't be saved gets recycled.

Our warehouse is a treasure trove: vintage camcorders, rare video games, iPads, unopened smartwatches, you name it. We test it, photograph it, list it & give it a second life. That's where you come in. A refurbished ThinkPad sitting on a shelf helps nobody. You do the research, shoot the photos, write the listing & connect that machine with the student, small business or collector who's been looking for it.

Responsibilities

This isn't a sit-around-and-click-post job. You'll be hands-on with real gear, deciding what's worth selling, how to price it & how to present it to the world. Around 40–50 quality listings a day across eBay & our other channels, live by Friday at 5pm. Accurate titles, honest photos, clean specs, smart pricing. You'll research resale value & what collectors are after, keep inventory organized, help pack & ship when volume spikes & work closely with the Recovery & Tech teams to keep things moving. You'll watch what sells & what stalls, then feed it back so we get sharper every week. Your listings fund the mission, grow the team & keep electronics out of landfills.

Experience

Our buyers know their gear & can smell a lazy listing from a mile away. Your job is to write the one they trust. We're looking for someone who's part detail nerd, part storyteller & part tech enthusiast. If you can make an old hard drive sound like the holy grail of storage, keep reading. Bring clean grammar, an eye for a good product photo, a competitive streak & a love for tech, even if you don't know all the specs (yet). eBay or marketplace experience helps, bonus if you've sold your own stuff. Photography, copywriting or repair skills are a plus. You'll need to lift 30 lbs comfortably. Detail obsession is required. A wrong spec is a return.
