Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of experience in production/manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret and comprehend plans/blueprints.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing with emphasis on Standardized Work, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and JIT.
• Ability to work overtime as needed (daily and weekends).

Responsibilities

• Test remanufactured steering gears and perform evaluation tests on warranty claims.
• Troubleshoot and analyze customer claims; communicate technical information to warranty and quality control teams.
• Input data entry transactions and retrieve information from the computer.
• Maintain a clean workstation and retrieve materials as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and 5S standards; lift/move parts as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
