Job summary

Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth, MS, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technician II to support value stream goals by assisting Manufacturing Engineers with print packages, PPAP samples, CI cards, Standard Work, and ETQ documentation. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and ensure quality.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to cross-train in other operations areas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Cat Remanufacturing facility or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Proficient PC skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office.
• Experience reading and understanding blueprints or GD&T.
• Experience reading precision gauges/torque devices (PinPoint).
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving problems and forming teams when needed.
• Experience with process flow diagrams, control plans, and PFMEA.

Responsibilities

• Support Value Stream Manufacturing Engineers in project execution and daily operations.
• Develop print packages for RFQs, tooling, fixtures, CI cards, Standard Work, and QSI/ETQ documents.
• Cross-train in other areas of operations to provide flexibility.
• Assist with NPI and updated processes by building and testing PPAP samples.
• Assist in installing and running new equipment and tools.
• Input for BOMs on fallout and yield; determine salvage rates.
• Conduct RCA and corrective actions; participate in safety meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups including engineering.
