Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and two years field service, mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Advanced operational ability and skill per competency level 3; skilled use of mechanical and electrical hand tools; skilled use of measurement and testing tools; knowledge in technical language and engineering terminology; knowledge in electronics, physics, hydraulics, pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or disassemble MTU and other engines, systems, and components per specification.
• Inspect and evaluate components for defects such as breakage and wear based on drawings.
• Recommend core acceptance or rejection based on inspection results.
• Inspect, operate, and test products to validate functionality and conformance to specifications.
• Analyze and interpret test results to diagnose capabilities and next steps.
