Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Corinth, MS is seeking an Engine Test Cell Operator for the 2nd shift. You will identify problems, perform initial diagnostics, and operate the engine test cell across production lines.

You will cross-train, work under safety guidelines, and use multiple computer systems to support quality outcomes. The role requires reading blueprints, basic mechanical repairs, and familiarity with test equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience performing basic mechanical reports and minor repairs.
• Experience performing Electrical Testing.
• Experience reading blueprints/schematics.
• Proficient with MES, BIQ, Pinpoint, Epix, ITest and CAT ET.
• Good working knowledge of hand tools and various power tools.
• Experience with advanced troubleshooting of engine test failures.
• Basic understanding of PLC inputs/outputs.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and test processes in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-focused environment.
• Adhere to contamination control guidelines and perform quality checks.
• Read prints and follow standard work; diagnose and adjust engine tests.
• Operate engine test cell and use tools and equipment; move parts as needed.
• Cross-train for flexibility and work with various computer systems.
